Care Free Medical is non-profit FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC established to ensure access to affordable health care for the residents of the community. Care for people who do not have any health insurance or other resources to provide healthcare benefits. The clinic provides needy families and individuals with primary health care, pharmaceutical services, dental services, and more. Two locations, one in Mason 517-244-0120 and one in Lansing, 517-887-5922. Please call to see if currently accepting new patients and to see if you qualify. Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic - 2815 S. Pennsylvania, Suite 203 Lansing, MI 48911; Provides routine and preventative dental care for children who are residents of Ingham County from birth to 18 years of age that are on Medicaid, MI Child, Healthy Kids (premier) or uninsured.

The WIC program provides nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care; for pregnant and breast feeding women or mothers with infants and children under age 5 at or below 185% of poverty guidelines.
